Yeah, Copenhagen who have a better coefficient than us still 1 point ahead with 2 games to play so I wouldn't want to rely on them.

The rest depends on who gets through the 3rd qualifying round. The threats with more coeff points are Ferencvaros who currently sit 3 points clear in their league, Red star Belgrade who are already qualified and Dinamo Zagreb who are one point off the top.

I'd say our chances of being seeded are 50:50 - still gonna be tough playing the likes of Bratislava, Basel, Sturm Graz, Ludogorets, Quarabag, Malmo...whoever gets through but still better than being up against Bodo or the teams I mentioned at the top.

Rangers CL qualifying round 2 club co-efficient.

Rangers 71.250
SK Brann 7.937
Panathinaikos 16.000
Viktoria Plzen 39.250 / Banik Ostrava 8.820
Servette 11.500 / Young Boys 34.500 / Luzern 6.725
Wolfsberger 9.500 / Austria Vienna 7.500 / RB Salzburg 48.000

RB Salzburg the toughest on paper but they need to win both their remaining games and have results go against the other two, who play off in the final match.

Guaranteed to be seeded in round 2.

If it stays as is in Austria, Czechia and Switzerland will draw one of

Servette
Wolfsberger
SK Brann

Rangers will also be seeded in the 3rd qualifying round should we make it.

3rd Qualifying round entrants

France - Nice, Lille, Strasbourg.
Lyon not out mathematically but they're out of it needing all 3 above to lose and they win. All 4 teams playing diddy sides on the final day.

Feyenoord barring a disaster. FC Utrecht.

Benfica. Unless Sporting drop points and Benfica win the title on the last day.

Club Brugge or Union Saint-Gilloise. USG a point ahead with easier fixtures so looks like it should be Club Brugge.

Fenerbahce.

Nice 20.000
Lille 66.000
Strasbourg 14.510

Feyenoord 71.000
Utrecht 13.430

Benfica 87.750
Sporting 59.000

Club Brugge 71.750
USG 36.000

Fenerbahce 47.250

As it stands

Benfica 87.750
Rangers
Club Brugge 71.750
Feyenoord 71.000

Fenerbahce 47.250
Nice 20.000
2x QR2 winners

Rangers and Benfica would then be seeded in the play-off round should they both get that far.

Going to be tough for us from the off I think, so much to do with the squad and then to have a team ready to compete at a decent level.

Takeover being drawn out slowly, mid June the most recent estimate of completion by which time QR2 will have been drawn.

All moving too slowly, should have the new manager lined up by now and be sure we have investment to improve our squad.
