Unless he's said no, not sure why we're even bothering to look elsewhere.

There's a guy who built a Rangers team that won an undefeated title and whose said team then got to a European final. Seems blindingly obvious, not only that he's the most marketable, most connected and highest profile.

But he's been there and done that, Clearly, that's not a disqualifier but it could surely be a factor, no? The title was a good one given he was able not to lose to diddy teams. The Lennon implosion merely made it less stressful. I'm sure even he realises his overall record was not the best. He was funded pretty decent first time - front loaded, and could have put you under again given the mess left by King. If he'd consider it I'm sure the finance available will play a big part because he's going to look at the squad and wonder WTF over much of it.
