Last night changes nothing, he needs to go. People can talk about this building confidence in the team but that’s just a thing people say, this won’t change anything and I worry that with Ange in charge next season we will really be in a relegation fight and I can’t see that these players have the steel for that. Even last night out football was terrible. We got a somewhat lucky goal, then parked the bus and just played hoofball. It got us over the line and you can say this is all that matters in a final, but going forward we were as bad as we’ve been most of the season.

Thank you Ange for finally ending our trophy drought, you will hopefully be remembered for that and not the abysmal league campaign. So get rid of him now and let him go out on a high.

relegation fight? Joke comment!

We need to build on what we achieved last night.

We know the squad is way better than 17th.

It's difficult to visualise Ange being able to blend Ange-ball with the defensive resilience of last night, and I cannot help but feel that this success has been achieved by him stepping away from his principles, and we have seen those principles being diluted all season long as well.

We are no longer that "it's who we are, mate" team. That doesnt work, so if Ange-ball does not work, can he evolve it into something that does? Not sure i have seen enough to prove he can do this. All our Europa success has been achieved through far more pragmatic tactics.

If he goes, and on balance i think he should, then the next appointment in my view needs to be proven, not another big risk, not another project. They will have a quality squad which they can add to and which should be our team going forward for the next few years. We want to be quite certain the next coach will progress us almost immediately, not question marks about whether they can step up to this level/pressure/expectation, or if their style can work in this league. Not sure who that name is though.

He’s got to go, otherwise we’ll have to write off next season.

He's just broken your trophy hoodoo, and got you in the CL surely he gets a complete pass on the league form this season.

It should not be as clear cut as winning Europa = free pass. We have lost 21 league games. Could be 22 games on Sunday, which would be a record for a non-relegated team.

The fact that we had league players back from injury and form didn't improve is the biggest worry for me. Just because you might see Europa as a higher priority should not mean that you forego the league. Whether it was intentional or not, it shows the manager hasn't handled multiple competitions well and you need to if you want to manage a club like Spurs.
