He’s come out and said he be happy to move if the club wanna sell him. He’s probably just being a decent guy and saying he would but probably doesn’t wanna leave but we’ve taken a massive financial hit from not making the CL and we’d probably get £100 million plus from a Saudi club for him.
To be clear - he’s by miles our best player and I don’t want him to leave - but is there a world where he leaves for that money and it works out for us?
Time to sell Bruno?

Build the team around Bruno.
Ffs, have you not seen our transfer record over the last 12 years?
How can you say with any confidence that any money generated selling our best player will be invested wisely and not wasted on more terrible signings?

Fernandes told reporters when asked about his future immediately after missing out on another trophy: “I’ve always said I will be here until the club says to me that it’s time to go. I’m eager to do more, to be able to bring the club to great days.
“In the day that the club thinks that I’m too much or it’s time to part ways, football is like this, you never know it. But I’ve always said it and I keep my word in the same way. If the club thinks it’s time to part ways because they want to do some cash in or whatever, it’s what it is, and football sometimes is like this.”

That’s what Bruno said. Not exactly ‘I want out’ but possibly a glimmer of a man who wouldn’t be totally against leaving

Could we sell Bruno to help us rebuild, maybe (not sure where he'd go?). Do we have far more pressing issues that need fixing, absolutely.
Like I said last night, he was terrible but he has also been by far our best player not just this season but for many seasons. Why he was played deeper last night I don't know, it rarely works and it was a massive mistake by Amorim. He wasn't able to do any damage that far back and got very frustrated.
It was an awful game last night where neither team did anything to really deserve the win and it was ultimately won with a deflected handball. The win would have helped us financially but maybe it would have also papered over the cracks temporarily and who knows how we would have spend that extra cash.
We need to fix this club and it isn't going to happen overnight. Is Amorim the solution, I don't know but if we want to have any chance of positive change we need to actually give our managers time to implement their ideas. Sacking him now would only show everyone we have no idea what we're doing.

£100m for Bruno?!
That would be impressive. For all the money Saudi throw around on wages, I believe £75m for Neymar is their record signing.
Personally I think Utd would be daft to sell their best player though. You need to add quality, not flog it!

Yeah we're not getting £100m for Bruno or anything close to that.
Firstly Saudi's have stopped spending like that and I doubt they would for Bruno however good he is. And secondly there is no chance Bruno is choosing to go to SA, he'll want to play at a high level for as long as he can in Europe. He's 31 in a few months, the best we're going to get it probably £30-40m and that's being generous. So say we sell him for that, what can we even get as a better suited replacement?

He won’t go to Saudi. I wouldn’t begrudge Bruno leaving this shiiiiiitshow, but I wouldn’t be actively looking to sell him when our squad is so bad.

Sounds laughable but if you sell Bruno, can you be sure of staying in the division?

The most ridiculous statement being made. If he was so good we would be fighting to keep him away from the best in Europe. No one wants it.
Sell him now, get Cherki, 2 more players and start again. Chelsea did what we were supposed to do. We are still holding on to past glories.
