I’m rarely saddened when a player leaves United. It’s usually the right time. The last time I was saddened or annoyed to see a player leave the club was Ronaldo in 2009. Maybe Pogba 1st time around also.
Pretty much all of our other departures have been players whose best days are behind them or were not good enough while at the club.
Garnacho leaving would feel different though. While he frustrates and his decision making isn’t quite there yet I feel there is potentially a very good player there and I feel it’s one we will regret if he does go.
Part of the problem with Garnacho has been that he’s been over relied on in the past 2 seasons due to the failings of the likes of Rashford, Sancho and Antony and the injuries of the likes of Mount and Amad.
Out of the 5 players mentioned and Garnacho, he’s probably the only one who was available and getting picked most weeks so you can understand his frustration of not getting picked for our biggest game of the past 2 seasons even if his behaviour hasn’t been the best.
I hope he stays as I feel we’ll regret it otherwise.

We had Ronaldo who came and scored goals and the the wizards on here said he doesn’t work hard enough all he does is score goals and so we ended up up with Rasmus who works hard.

Yes but it sort of shows he’s now very poor at a high level of football. He certainly wouldn’t have been worse than Hojlund this season I agree.

He is 40 years old. The fact we are comparing him to our current 9 and accepting he would've probably done better a sad reality of where we are.

Oh yeah, I saw the clip of Infantino on that YouTubers video saying Ronaldo might be at the Club World Club. Infantino makes Blatter and Havelange look like saints in comparison.

I’ve a feeling both went there for the money though not because no one else wanted them. My point being I think Ronaldo still cares in Saudi which is why he’s out scoring them.
