Looks like battle for 16th is on today. Final game of the season. Cant get bigger than this.
Looks like it will be United's to lose, but considering both United and Spurs will likely lose their match today, United will hold on to 16th.
I can imagine both teams playing their hearts out and leave everything on the pitch not to end dead last of the non relegation places.
All to play for today. Good luck to both teams, may the best team get 16th.

Just found out the other day..... every place in the league is worth £3m give or take. Loose change for Spurs when there's Champions League lolly to trouser next season. United never every pound note
Both teams will be flat today. It's a contest to see who will be the most abject today.

UNiteds season was done a long time ago. The worst thing Amorim did was to 'give the impression' to the players and some of the fan base that results didnt matter during his tenure and that he had been give a carte blanche by the ownwers to us this season as a 'long pre-season' trying to get this system in place and working. The players took him seriously with that assumption.
Anybody who has played the game will tell you that winning becomes a habit... as losing does, and you cant switch off for weekends games and then hope to switch back on for midweek games. Momentum is the key to winning and you take avery good game into the nest one and you become stronger as a collective group of players singing of the same hymn sheet. Its a cliche but you really do take it one game at a time. One step forwrards then one step backwards isnt going to get you anywhere. In the end I think United have just forgotten how to win games at the weekends.

17th is our destiny today the one thing these players can achieve as you just have to lose to do it.

This defeat was a sobering reminder of the problems that persist at Tottenham.
Postecoglou will argue that he has met his pre-season requirements by winning a trophy and qualifying for the Champions League.
The build-up to the Europa League final was dominated by talk of the Australian getting the sack if Spurs lost - perhaps even before today's match against Brighton.
That did not happen and at Spurs' Europa League trophy parade, Postecoglou said: "All the best TV series, season three is better than season two."
It was interpreted as a suggestion that the Australian had been told that he would be at the club next season, but he was quick to play down those claims before this match, acknowledging that "sometimes they kill off the main character".
It is now over to chairman Daniel Levy to decide how much the club's Europa League success can mask such a disastrous league campaign.
Levy is yet to give any indication to Postecoglou over his future, but clarification is expected in the next 48 hours.
