Good read this from the Athletic that summarises United’s worst season for over 50 years.
There’s just so much to read and process but once you do get through it you’re not surprised why we’re one dumpster of a club.
I think the key takeaway from this was Ruben was about to quit in February at the height of the injury crisis when the Spurs game arrived, before changing his mind.

We won today and ended the season on a high. Why are people still being so negative?

We were the better team against a top 8 CL team. We deserved to win the Europa final. The future is extremely bright

Funny you say that as only Amad in our current squad had a better conversion rate than Hojlund this season lol, taking away Rashford from it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn’t say much. And conversion rate means nothing when a player is so shiiiit at football that they can’t even take shots. Surprised you don’t hate him. Especially as you always call our attackers Championship standard.

I think Hojlund's stats don't quite register on Hafi's system so he isn't really able to comment on him.

Well to be fair Man Utd finished 20th in the PL for conversion rate out of 20 teams in the PL so I am not going to call out our 2nd best converter after Amad now am I? Just to put it into perspective SAF final season we were 1st out of 20 teams at converting lol.

Funny thing is if we got Kane like I wanted, I reckon he would have taken the chances we got in that game and won the trophy.😂

I dunno, Hafi’s a keen enthusiast for shots taken. So it surprises me that he’s okay with a bloke that has about one shot a game.

This was last year. Just to put it into persoective Garnacho and Antony between them were averaging like 200 shots per 9 goals in the league lol so I am hardly going to complain about someone who took 19 shots and scored 9 goals after December.

That is what annoyed me most as he dropped Garnacho who probably would have shot like 10 times against Spurs if he started but we started Mount who we know has been a flop for his 2 years at the club bar a few minutes in the semi-final.

Remember when we were behind against Leicester City and barely creating anything and then Garnacho comes on and we literally could have scored 6 goals. Garnacho causes mayhem even if he can’t finish himself. I bet Ange probably couldn’t believe we didn’t start, Mainoo, Ugarte and Garnacho and even had Shaw playing lol. I reckon even a Liverpool fan would have struggled to pick a worse lineup than Amorim did for that final.

I see Ole is still living rent free in Rob's head.
