I’m talking about Bruno or “Rat Boy" as we used to call him. £100 million is far too much for any of our players. We need to let him go so he can go on to greatness and not get bothered about having to fight a relegation battle next season with United.
Yes, you might think he’s our greatest player ever but that’s probably because you weren’t born when Ferguson was in charge: Bruno is a slightly better version of Kleberson for reference. If some oil barrons are willing to throw £100 million at us then we should let them.
If you love something, set it free

In an ideal world we don't have to sell anyone, we have loads of money to spend and we qualified for Europe.
Reality is a lot different.
If the alternative is keep Bruno and sell Mainoo to Chelsea then that's no better. Worse probably as Mainoo has another 10 years in him that Bruno doesn't and Chelsea play in England not Saudi.

Lol.
The board clearly wants him to stay and have trusted him.
Why would they then go and spunk millions on players he doesn't want?
Seriously?b
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's what the DOF does normally? They know what he wants but they have the final decision like a normal team as opposed to ETH when every player was a former player for him or Dutch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dude
Amorim has clearly stated that he will have the final say on any transfer. Go read about it.

Most likely because I don't think he will get the final day on transfers. We've probably moved away from what happened under Erik. I'm sure Ruben will be consulted but I don't think he's the one drawing up the shortlists.
I do feel like you're just being a bit silly now when it comes to Ruben. You're well within your right to be disappointed with results and performances but this squad being an absolute shambles isn't on him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said the squad being a shambles was on him, but going forwards any additions to the squad, results, etc, are on him.
Why would Ruben choose to stay if he wasnt told that he'd have some leverage over the transfers?
That would be absolute madness.
Dorgu was a Ruben buy. And he's shiiiiiit. The club is doomed unless we unearth a gem of a player to carry us through the shiiiiiit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dorgu has not been sheite. Calmly watch and you'll see obviously he's the only player who plays his role it's meant to be played. Not sure any other player has. And he's facking 20.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the issue is, he's a bang average player playing as he should, nothing more.
So we just spent 30 million odd on someone who is not good enough for anyone in the top 6... Probably top 10, as they all have better players.

He'll leave 2 to 3 years from now, produce more than whatever player you can imagine is better and people will come up with the "he could not keep up with the pressure". Meanwhile they just have a striker who makes runs. Someone will pay to sign him for big money and we will say "we get percentage of the sale". We are becoming a comedic team.

Dorgu is not going to leave Utd one day and come back to haunt us. He's bang average.
Genuinely have no idea what our scouts / recruitment team saw in him. He's athletic but has zero composure on the ball, not great in attack or defence either.
For the amount of games he's played and positions he's taken up.....he doesn't even have an assist or goal yet does he? Just isn't good enough.
Shouldn't be signing 20 year olds as first team regulars though unless they are special players. That's not his fault in his defence.

You're the man who doesn't rate our captain, best player by a long way and winner of club player of the year 4 times......yet you're defending Dorgu??? 😂
Guy just runs in straight lines with absolutely zero end product.
Been seeing today that Theo Hernandez (Ac Milan). Ould be available for about what we paid for Dorgu. Says it all. 🙃

Ruben 100% has the final say on signings. He's been very clear on this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/ruben-amorim-explains-transfer-policy-after-window-closes
Exactly.
INEOS aren't going to go and force him to buy loads of players that he doesn't want in his system
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So Dorgu was hand picked by Amorim. A 20.year old Dane playing at Lecce?
I just don't believe that for a second. Clearly he's got some say in transfers but I don't think for a second that he's hand picking all the targets.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He doesn't hand pick them. But you said that you don't believe that he has the final say. Yet he is very adamant that he does. Didn't we have this same conversation a few days ago?
