After winning Tottenham's first trophy in nearly two decades, and a Europa League too! It's not an easy trophy to win (Ask Jurgen Klopp, he failed to win it twice as Liverpool manager and got BATTERED out of the Quarter Finals last season)
I just think think staggering to sack Postecoglou for winning a trophy Jurgen Klopp was battered out of at the quarter final stage. That alone proves what an achievement it was.
Can't understand Daniel Levy's logic. Spurs only finished 17th because they knew after like half of the season that they couldn't qualify for the CL via league position, so they just gave up on trying in the PL games and put all their effort into winning the Europa League and in the process both winning a trophy and qualifying for the CL. Surely given that, the 17th place finish doesn't matter.
Postecoglou sacking is an awful decision

Will Postecoglou win the CL? No
Would I be happy about Spurs winning the europa league, then winning nothing the following season and finishing outside the European spots again? No

He won you a trophy.
NONE of your other recent managers have even been close. This is a stupid decision that you’ll pay for as you arebt winning anything at all for a long while now. That I’m 99.5% certain if

ETH won 2 trophies. How did that work out for you? Glad you kept him?

Bit daft even ref Liverpool and Klopp. They went out to Atalanta. They’d decimate spurs 😂
Trophy is a trophy but without the CL teams dropping into it it’s clearly much, much easier to win.
Anyone who says otherwise is lying or on the spectrum.
I get why fans are sad Ange is gone but spurs are in the CL now and they have 0% chance of winning it.
Ange points tally over 2 seasons is shocking, and he had to go.
If spurs were in the Europa again I’d say keep him, as you’d get at least the final again, noting the quality of teams now in the Europa,

Rival fans are only sad Ange is gone because they're s****ing their pants that Spurs might now improve, so they're doing typical rival fan copium, doom mongering in the blind hope of being right.

No not really. Spurs will never be a threat, regardless of who their manager is. So to finally find a manager who could at least win them a trophy unlike serial bottlers like Mauricio Pockets and then sack him? It's just so bizarre.

It is the right decision, winning a cup changes nothing, Spurs were pathetic all season, zero excuses.
The mistake would be making another poor new appointment

Don’t think it matters who the manager is at Spurs or United, it’ll be the same story. Both clubs have huge issues that go beyond the manager.

How are Spurs a threat? They're never going to win a PL or CL. The best they can hope for is to win an occasional cup and it's just bizarre that they finally found a manager who could do that instead of bottle it at the crucial moment and they get rid of him. Actually it's not bizarre, it's typical Tottenham bottling actually having a winning manager for once.
