More PL Goals Than £72m Hojlund
posted on 10/6/25
Hojlund is a decent striker with very low confidence.
Noted earlier that he has scored 11 in 21 in Europe compared to 14 in 62 in the PL.
He would probably be better off in a league like the Bundesliga with his brothers.

You'll not get many bites from United fans on this one Peebs. He's pretty damn awful. But for a 10-or-so game purple patch last year, the bloke has just looked so far out of his depth for the majority of his United career.
I think there's a confidence element and maybe he's not as bad as he's shown the last few months. But i doubt he'll ever be good enough, too many of the fundamentals are missing.
God knows who the hell decided this transfer was a good idea.

I read earlier today that ETH tried to block Antony from joining United but the board over ruled him due to interest from Arsenal. Looks like Arsenal dodged a bullet there, if true.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, i saw that - suprised. It came from ETH's agent though, so wonder how much of it is PR spin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is that's true then it's horrendous. The manager should always have the final say on signings in my opinion. But overruling him on a player that he's already had under him and knows well is ludicrous. So it's almost certainly true.

I can't seem to find Richarlson in the list.

To be fair, and I am a LFC fan mind, but if he had a Salah, or a Diaz, or a MacAllister, or a Sabozolai playing with him, do you think he would get into double figures ?
I think he would.

Spurs (EL)
Palace (FA Cup)
Chelsea (UECL)
Charlton (play offs League 1 winner)
Wimbledon (play offs League 2 winner)

I thought the list would be longer; genuinely.

EtH’s agent talking about Antony was clearly bollox, why would Arsenal have wanted him when they have Saka and haven’t bought a right sided attacker since? Agents trying to do some good PR before Erik goes and blows another bunch of money on some more useless Ajax players for Leverkusen.

He even resorted to leaving a massive space between each name to make it look longer. Rasmus has rattled him.
