Winnable First 9

With the exception of Arsenal away looks like a favourable set of fixtures. Obviously the start is very important. Pity about the Monday night start but a very winnable match.

The 3 teams that came up last year won 12 games between them all season.

A winnable first 9 sounds delusional and I'm not even wumming.

Put us down for 10 and Sunderland and Burnley can have 1 each

Would take 4 pts from the opening 9 imo, 3 minimum. Gotta win one of the home games I feel. 3 or more and we won't be bottom.

I expect us to be relegated so am hoping to be pleasantly surprised, if we can take 6/7 pts from the first 6 games we might have a chance but i think it will be a long old season.

If the new signings gel then I think it''s perfectly reasonable and rational to expect us to get 13 or 14 points from the first 9 games which is a third of the way to our desired total points target for the season.

Its literally a football saying, which obviously you been a glory hunting plastic, do not understand 🤦🤦🤦

Skum got just 26 points against everyone else but the cannon fodder, just six wins in 32 league games, absolutely horrific. By your strange logic, your going to be hoovering around relegation.

What the relegation clubs did last season, as ZERO affect on what happens to us.

Jusf two years ago, all three promoted clubs stayed up.

It means ZERO, in regards this season

Not been on for a while but been looking in, strange but it seem's the same people that gave us no chance last season see us back in the Championship before the season even starts!..

I know it was a while back, but one of the clubs that have just been relegated were given the same chance that some of our own are giving us now, and look what happened!..

Nobody knows what any club in this league are going to look like at the start of the season, and there is no reason why any newly promoted team can't do a little better than those the last two seasons did!..

Let the 49ers and Farke's team get on with their jobs, and see where it lands us ffs!..

Of course the first 9 aren't all winnable but omg the pessimism on here is staggering. Fulham, Bournemouth, Wolves - there's 9pts for the taking in the first 6 fixtures. Admittedly, even a flying start is no guarantee of survival - so many teams start well but fade. But if Farke spends wisely - and he's made a decent start – we'll finish 10pts above relegation.

As the squad stands today we have a better chance than any of the promoted sides last year because we are better than they were. If we recruit well and have a bit of luck we have a chance. We need one or two of last year’s mid table teams to have a poor season. History says there’s a good chance of that happening. Change of manager, poor recruitment, key injuries etc.

If it happens we need to be good enough to take advantage. Difficult? Yes. Impossible? No.

I don't know if we are going to sign quality players, what I do know there are plenty of PL teams that look vulnerable. It's a big chance.
Yes I agree our away from last season was at best incredibly disappointing against weak teams.
This is not last season, it's a big chance with a new squad.
