In some weird way the world will probably be ‘safer’ if Iran does acquire a nuclear bomb from Russia in the next few weeks as that will at least stop the sabre rattling from the US/Israel

Because it's never about WMD's being a threat, regionally North Korea has nothing to do with biblical extremism and Judaic terrorism. It's always been about destabilising the Middle East so there can be no unity against gradual land grabbing within and beyond Israel/ Palestine.

Like i said, massive over simplification to suggest that all governments act in a way to make their own people feel unsafe to justify military decisions or to support an arms industry.

The most ridiculous part of all this is that those in power would say we have to do this because Iran persistently roll out this "death to the west" rhetoric. Have they ever stopped to wonder why? Trump might be hailing this as a victory but he's inadvertently recruited a generation to commit to jihad, such is the anger no doubt in Iran. They then say "death to the west" and the cycle continues.

This really isn't about Iran or Israel anyway. They're just pawns in the game. This is about the US, Russia and China.
