I saw that you posted of the "city" article that you "want villa to get slaughtered to expedite AM's sacking"
What a pathetic attitude to have for someone who supposedly supports Aston Villa. Real supporters always want the team to win, no matter when, who the manager is or what players are on the pitch. Mcleish was never the man I wanted, but i do not support any particular manager, i support Aston Villa no matter what. You're the type of fan gives us a bad name such as fickle. unfortunately, O'leary was right.
Pathetic, i feel ashamed to have you as a fellow villa fan.

hey Funky Monkey
thanks for your post- you sound like quite an alarmist, and I rrecommend a career in the tabloids.
I am a true Villa fan and naturally want the best for my team; there is nothing i want more, than to have sucess at Villa.
Sadly, I have little faith in the current management structure. My point was for the future good of the club, I feel as if we may need to go backwards to go forwards.

FunkyMunky, I second Tokyovillan’s sentiments, so by definition you are also labelling me as shameful, fickle, pathetic etc...
As far as supporting Aston Villa goes, I doubt you are even fit to lace my boots, but that aside, you clearly lack the foresight which Tokyovillan refers to as going backwards to go forwards.
Don’t get me wrong, if we win tomorrow, I will be doing cartwheels down the Hagley Road, but by the same token, if we do take a beating, I will at least take some comfort by convincing myself that it is a step closer to the end of the McLeish reign and all that it stands for. That’s an opinion which Tokyovillan and I share and we are entitled to do so.
I would say the more ‘pathetic’ and perhaps (dare I say) blind ‘fan’ is one who seeks to stir unrest amongst his own when things aren’t going well, so O’Leary was right……about you at least.
Oh and if we do win tomorrow, I’ll eat moo villa’s pubes too, garnished with a p!ss covered thistle.

Djrozzer - your comments made me chuckle, which I needed having watched the game today - at least you won't need to be eating any pubes

Gutted that we lost, but my pubes are intact and my wallet bulging as I had a fiver on a 4-1 loss @16-1.
Off for a brazillian - moo

Hey, I figured there was as much chance of Villa winning at the Etihad as there was of Moo Villa being actual Megan Fox.

You bet against your own team?
I know it was obvious you'd lose but still...I don't think I could ever bet against Blues. I could only bet for a win or draw, and just not bother if I think we don't stand a chance.
Just doesn't seem right to do that...

Why not? It doesn't affect the outcome and you have a consolation if you lose. Kind of like an insurance policy.

Oh, I totally know what you mean. I'm not blind enough to see that Blues are going to lose a fair few games this season.
Dunno, just profiting from my teams lost feels...weird. Different strokes for different folks I guess!
