Thomas Partey

Charged with rape.

Arsenal must have known about this. I know our club isn't perfect but they got the Greenwood situation absolutely right. Bad day for the Gunners this IMO.

Arsenal always used to be a classy club but they’ve been a disgrace over this.

Yes I've always admired how Arsenal conduct themselves. This one is questionable. But it's a tough situation. We've seen in the past that footballers can lose years of their careers through false accusations. The Greenwood case was a little different in that the evidence was in the public domain, making it impossible for him to play throughout the investugation.

Talking of the timing of this announcement being 3 days after Partey’s contract ran out, the head of the CPS, the Attorney General is a pal of Starmer and of course Two Tier Starmer is an Arsenal fan, purely coincidental🤔🤔🤬🤬

My mate who is an Arsenal fan made this point to me last night.

I think its much more likely we basically poised ourselves to either renew or release him based on the CPS findings but when it became clear that it wasn't going to resolved before his contract ended, we decided to wash our hands of him and move on. At that point CPS were in a 'now or never' situation so they had to move and I won't be surprised if they still don't have the tightest case against him.

To me that's a far more logical chain of events than Starmer getting involved at great personal risk.

It wasn't nearly the same level of evidence though. It was random screenshots taken from a conversation with tonnes of parts missing.

It was obvious he was a scuumbag but not clear whether he was a rapist.

Yeah there was stuff, IMO what was put out there wasn't nearly as damning as the Greenwood stuff on terms of there still being some doubt about exactly what happened.

But no doubt he is a priiiick from them

One of the accusers went off on him on snapchat stories and showed conversation receipts right?

Thats the public domain stuff i remember

posted 3 weeks, 3 days ago

She did yeah, but she was asking very leading questions and he wasn't really giving much in the replies. And there were big chunks of the conversation not included in the screenshots she posted.
