I'm genuinely......GENUINELY starting to think there's some kinda money laundering/book cooking arrangements going on between the Yank owners of Arsenal and Chelsea!...something fishy is afoot...we didn't even START at 30-35 Million for Madueke lads!....50 Mill British pounds off the rip ffs!
We engage in penny pinching for everybody, but we just are throwing cash at Chelsea for a mediocre player?
And we're allegedly haggling over 5 million or thereabouts for Gyokeres??
Wtf is going on?!
Something Fishy's Going On!

It's not as fishy as the fans insisting that signing norgaard is a stroke of genius.

for this to be true it would need the agreement of the manager.
even if you think about Havertz, who's being sold as some sort of success, I guarantee you if he left tomorrow not one fan would bat an eye lid.

Yeah you know what, it does need looking into.
Chelsea have so many players that are expendable I wouldn’t be surprised if the Chelsea’s American owner was like, well give you a 50m rated player but you only need to pay 10m, we will pay the rest as we need to balance our books for PSR.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea don't need to balance their books for PSR.
They have more headroom than anyone else and have just made 60m+ this month at the sham tournament.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not for UEFAs regulations though, obviously.

Christ, you should look at Forest and Villa among others. No doubt at all shifty shat is going on now with some teams.

They paid 30m for him themselves so 30-35m for a player not even up for sale would be a bit of an insult no?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then bid 40 mill?....why on earth did we shoot past that by ten million??...but the extra five million for Gyokeres...an obvious "ceiling raiser"... is a hold up? lol...sure

Hardly genius but clearly replacing Jorgy with someone better (as of today if not in their peaks) and younger - solid business for sure

I dont think there are many saying that but it's a solid signing we are getting an experienced premier league player to replace Jorginho at a good price. It's not like he's going to be playing every week, good squad player. Madueke on the other hand just doesn't make sense especially at the price being touted.

Arsenal came into this transfer window with the 4th highest transfer debt in the league.
About £230m net. (£270m owed to other clubs, against £40m receivable)
Today is the 10th of July.
We have committed an additional £75m in new signings so far. And probably another similar amount over the next few weeks.
With just under £7m coming in. For Tavares and Marquinhos.
The only thing I'm concerned about is which key player(s) we intend to sell over the next few weeks. Something tells me I won't like it.
