Almost there. Thank God. We can finally put this saga to bed.

He was made promises that weren't kept. He fought his corner. If Sporting were honourable in their behaviour he wouldn't have had to take action
----
If I was him once this is all sorted I'd be sacking the agent and looking for new representation. If this discussion and promise on the part of Sporting happened why was it not written down into a contract. There's no honour in professional football and if there ever was it died a long time ago.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently his agent waived 10% of his commission to make the deal happen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I think that's the least he can do. Again without knowing where this conversation went with Sporting to not have any so called agreement written down in law doesn't seem right.

Fantastic bit of negotiation from Berta.
Welcome to Arsenal Gyokeres.

Great news
Sporting were not very sporting about this with their owner going back on his word.
This will soften the Madueke meltdown
Get Eze now

I'm not convinced on Gyokeres but hopefully I'm wrong, if he gets us 15-20 PL goals, Ill be happy.
but what I'm won over is his desire to succeed at Arsenal, he's arrogant that he already thinks he's one of the best strikers but i like that attitude.

Strikers wouldn't score a goal if they didn't think they were the best. Gyokeres has done well at International level and in the Champions League, so why shouldn't he think he can succeed in the Premier League?
He has that hunger to want to prove people wrong. Reminds me a lot of Ian Wright when he signed. He has a bludgeoning style, kinda reminds me of Alan Shearer.

I'm not 100% sold on him either, but we've been crying out for a bloke up front who just cares about scoring goals, and all he wants to do is just f*cking kick the ball hard at the goal. He'll be frustrating at times but I'm sure he'll bag a decent amount.
I was kinda hoping the game-changing player might come at wide forward, but we all know what happened there, unless there's some kind of madness still to come...

Eze will give us another brilliant attacking option

I'd love to see it.

I think he gonna be a good signing His finishing is very good and he can also play with his back to goal due to being quite physical and Arteta loves that kinda style.

Would you really want a player who’s spat his dummy out and gone on strike to force a move away?
Questionable attitude

I don't disagree, but half the transfers in the game go this way - worked out ok for Rooney to ManU. For example.
