This is crazy ambition from Liverpool, to go out and get arguably best striker in the league when they already have the best forward. A brand new attack of Salah, Isak, Ekitike and Wirtz looks ridiculous on paper.

It wouldn’t surprise me though if it took them time to click. Losing Diaz, Jota and Nunez is also gonna have a big impact, all 3 made vital contributions to Liverpool winning the league last season. If Isak gets injured, which isn’t uncommon, Liverpool suddenly look light up top for the first time in a long time.

Don't forget Rodrygo to replace Diaz.

We've lost Jota and Diaz. Brought in Ekitike and Wirtz. I think that's an improvement. If we bring in Isak then it's all good IMO. Nunez is still here btw.

Id agree with the it might take time to click part. Hige amount of change so would only be natural if there were some slight teething problems at the beginning of the season.

Dont agree with the part about looking light up top even if Isak picked up an injury. Wirtz, ekitike, and hopefully isak in with diaz probs nunez and the loss of jota no longer there. The numbers dont change. Bare in mind jota was regularly injured last season and we coped ok there.

As things stand we are more at risk of looking light at the back. A cb is needed. Im sure we will get one.

Agree we have no worries in attack positions, CB’s in the only worry I have and we definitely need at least one addition.

The most complete striker in the league NEEDS to play for the best team in the league.

It's just natural selection. You can't go against the universe
