We are actively still pursuing Garnacho & Simons?
Our C/B pairings are still not ideal, will Fofana return and establish himself ?
But with all this said and done this squad does seem to be full of genuine quality ,flair & is building experience. Hopefully the spine will emerge as the season progresses .
Four London derbys on the trott to kick of with will be a challenge , considering the short summer break and preseason.
But the squad will be eager to lay down a marker for sure off the back of last seasons success's.
Possible 25 man squad > 23/2

Hi Ifarka
Still no sure about our keeper (hopefully he cuts out the errors playing out) but happier with the balance of the squad for sure.
No idea on what Gittens is like , we have options up front and Jackson has the competition that he needed last year and the year before, although can see Pedro being increasingly deployed through the middle maybe.
Delap worth a go at 30m, and hopefully Levi continuing to look as assured and consistent as he has for the latter part of the season and the CWC.
Hope we keep Trev and Tosin if we can and Santos gets opportunities.
Think that Acheampong and George maybe best suited for loans at this point , just hope we fill as many loan spots as possible for development opportunities for young players rather than using the too many of those loan spots as glorified storage facilities for deadwood and players on high salaries that we are unable to shift.
Main worry is fatigue or injuries as result of extended season but looking forward to the season and seeing EM employing system/ tactics that get the best out of the creative players we have available.

Hello mate,
Yeah the goal keepers ?
Well they seem to be set to keep going with what we have, Sanchez did have a good CWC , lets hope he progresses.
I think the squad over all has a flair feel about it, our midfield is decent.
Lets hope Gittens continues to live up to his potential.
Im happy with Delap was & Pedro, Estavez is a quality player.
i hope we keep Jackson, & sign Simons , although Garnacho is adecent player.
Lets hope James, Lavia & Fofana can all stay fit
The centre back pairing issue is still a concern , lets hope Fofana, settles and get to play his part.
i think if James, Lavia & Fofana all can stay relatively fit across the whole season we will be pushing Liverpool, City & AFC.
Generally i think that the club have turned a corner, the owners have had a bit of good luck with how last season went, they did deserve it, they were having a torrid time.
I think that they do have a decent angle on the finances and to there credit they are ballsy.
I think we are still in development, but not transition as a side.
Once again , great time to be a Chelsea supporter.
When you think back to the late 70s & 80s, we have been spoilt and fortunate with the people who have run the club.
Bohlley & co are Roman, but they do have guts.

We seem to be addressing the current needs of the squad as a priority in signings, something which I was highly critical of the owners for not having done in the previous two years so so fair play for them for doing that.
Its almost as if we are back where we were when they first took over and attempted to enhance the existing squad then, let's hope SD's have better results with players signed now rather than Todd and Tuchel signings.
Still a lot of players to shift though and loan developments to be placed.
Hope they also come up with a decent sponsorship deal at last and maybe some kind of progress on Stadium future.
Enjoyed the 70s/80s period as a Chelsea fan irrespective of our problems, didn't have a problem with Bates and even the Mears family before then at least wanted to take the club onto the next level with the ground redevelopment just unfortunate that it was also the main contributing factor in our downward spiral in the costs that the the (delayed) East Stand incurred in conjunction with the demise of what at the time was a hugely talented squad at the time.
Have warmed to Boehly a little, obviously going soft in my old age lol.

Unlike last season, I feel we may now have enough in attack to Keegan teams thus being able to cover our issues in defence a bit more. They will still be there, but I am hoping we'll be in a better position to score 2 or 3 and not completely compitulate under the smallest amount of pressure.

Hope so, I think that having a fit and functioning Lavia (if there is such a thing) also helps us in front of the defence and also optimistic that Santos can be effective when or if deployed as he showed during the CWC.
Moises is an absolute beast but can't keep doing the work of two players like he has done at times last season, having additional options would help given the number of games that will include CL level.
