Given the Caicedo fee, I'm sceptical that Baleba is a deal we can "just" do, especially for anything like the fees being touted for Sesko.

Hmm. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Diafol that suggested to ETH to play Mazraoui as an AM. And told LVG that Phil Jones should take corners.

I'd also be happy with Dalot as the RCB if it came to it.

Brighton and Brentford keep cheaply acquiring highly talented players because they are both able to leverage proprietary software & databases developed by their owners as part of their sports gambling businesses. They don't have better scouts than United. They have better data management - and the utter shambles of our data operations was one of the things INEOS first identified when taking over. Appointments have been made, but I'd imagine this isn't something that can be turned around quickly.
