Eze and Spurs.

Sounds like we are at the point we need to offload players before bringing in any more. Will be a shame if we miss out on Eze because of that. If we can shift Viera, Trossard, Nelson and Kiwior that should be 75m+ and hopefully enough time to get someone in.

We have a squad of 29 players. Definitely need to get rid of a few before anyone else can come in - if we even need more.

I reckon the club also see Eze blocking the pathways of Nwaneri and Downman. Both will need minutes to continue their developments.
There could be a surprise name brought in if Trousaard is sold.

Pretty sure Trossard, Nelson and Viera are 99% likely to go. Kiwior 50/50, I'd probably think he should go as he'll be behind Mosquera now but depends if anyone will pay the asking price.

Zinchenko I think will stay, dont really need him but can fill in a few positions and doesnt feel like much interest in him and his reported 150k p/w wages (I dont buy the Turkish links, they always seem to come up and never amount to anything)

I'd like Eze as i rate him but, as mentioned, he could get in the way of Nwaneri and to a lesser extent Dowman.

The more i see of Zubimendi and the way he is pivoting (Petit/Vieira style) with Rice - with one sitting back as the other goes forward, the less i think we need Eze.

Yes Eze plays in a different position to those two but i just think we needed a bit of unpredictability in attack which the Rice and Zubi partnership could give us. Put Madueke and Nwaneri into that equation and i think we are looking ok.

Agree that Zinchenko could see out his final year and then go for free next summer. If this is the case, I'd send him out on loan to free up his wages

I don't think we were that fussed about him especially after Nwaneri re-signed. On the player side I'm sure he really wanted to join us but now that avenue appears closed he's looking at other options. Get a few players out then get a top left winger then it's been a really good window.

We knew this the moment Arsenal signed Madueke they weren't after Eze.
