Judgement Day - Crosses main weakness

Even Grimsby have seen we're terrible at defending on crosses.

1st goal cross behind CB and Fredricson out of position, combined with weak GK display.

2nd goal, instead of a direct corner, cross in - behind CB (Maguire) and Dorgu out of position, terrible GK display.

Dorgu been the weak link on crosses in previous matches also, against Arsenal and several occations against Fulham.

And the worst part? In PL we're the team letting in most crosses and concede the most corners. Talk about playing on the weaknesses .
Why do we do that? We have so many hopeless ball losses, and are weak against high-pressing teams. That is, almost every team looks like "Master Gegenpress" against us.

The rumoured signing of Lemmens won't help us here either, crosses isn't exactly his strength - he's more of a De Gea like GK with great reflexes.

So.. 3 out of 3 matches, same problems, we rotate (include spend £300m) players but still the same problems.
Problem is clearly mainly on Amorim now, he has spent like a drunk casino player and been hitting betting on red for months now, but all we get is black. .

So the consolation is that we score a lot of goals, since we concede so many. Cunha and Mbuemo are meritorious players both in terms of goals and assists, scoring penalties, neither of them score.. I mean W*T*F is going on.. The pressure is getting too great on penalties for the two mentioned in the Mickey Mouse Cup.

This is clearly how our system works (training, set-up in games, prep before games and so on...), said other wise how our system do NOT work.

I'd say give it to Giggsy for the rest of the season.

I'm really not sure what to expect with Lammens. I've seen a couple of profiles stating that he's not proactive in the box, and that's an area he needs to work on. But there's also a stat floating around that says he's in the 99th percentile for claiming aerial balls. I've never watched him so nothing to contribute to the debate. But either there's some strange statistical anomaly resulting in him catching a lot of uncontested crossed or someone published a junk piece on him based on ChatGPT and the content creators have plagiarised it.
