Is he any good? We need him to play goalkeeper, right back, centre midfield and left wing all in one go. Also, if he could score some goals that would be great. He might also be needed to help fix the North Stand roof and stand outside the ground on matchdays with a begging bucket

Yes. We are in real trouble. We have an owner who is determined to asset strip and see us go under rather than admit his mistakes and sell the club. Players and staff not being paid. The North Stand is falling down. Transfer embargo after transfer embargo leaving us unable to pay money for new players. A squad of young players and the few senior players that have stuck around. A points deduction incoming. Certainties for relegation to League One. Fans boycotting the games as we refuse to give our owner anymore money. In trouble with the tax man. A 70 quid shirt nobody will buy. Our first decent manager in years gone.

So yes. We have a problem

Cheers yeh I saw a report a few weeks back. I recall he won't sell and refuses to engage with the club's fan base? Sounds like a nightmare. Unthinkable for a club like Sheff Wed. Did make me wonder how you can sign anyone even on loan.

We aren't allowed to pay a fee for players so we can sign players but it has to be on a free. The EFL blocked a loan move for a youngster from Manchester City (Heskey) as they had doubts we would pay his wages. The lad from Manchester United was okay as United are paying his wages.

It's really sad to see a great historic club brought to this point by negligent ownership. Having grown up in the 80s and 90s, I always felt like Wednesday were one of the natural top tier clubs, always had a soft spot for them. Hope this chapter ends soon and you can build back to where you're supposed to be.

And good luck Amass. He's a really good footballer. Only thing he lacks is explosive pace.
