Morning.
My question is this, why should I be willing Wales to win the rugby this morning?
Take the World Cup in football for example, if England are still left in the competion would Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish & Rep of Ireland want England to win?
Or would Scottish fans wear Argentina shirts, like they did in the 2002 World Cup.
Why is it that the English are always told to support Wales, Scots, Irish in whatever they are doing, yet they want us to lose at EVERYTHING!
So I am sorry, I am an Englishman who supports England & couldn't give 2 hoots about any of them................ If they don't like me then I don't like them, why should I ??
Is it only me who thinks like that ?

Most of them would, so when you say we all know the answer then I hope that was it.

I support all home nations in sporting competitions I follow, though i must admit the anti english bile i hear from the scots sometimes diminishes my enthusiasm for them

Good & bad in ALL wethers.........
good & bad in all.
Me. I always side with the last 'home' nation.
The fact some 'Jock' or 'Taff' 8's mi guts doesn't register.(There's plenty in the West Riding would agree with 'em )
I take 'The cup half full' scenario , in that having 5 options is a blessing no other nation has, (Us, Scots, Welsh, Ulster & Irish) genetically we are nigh on all Celts anyway, despite that the conventional 'system' tries to tell us otherwise...(by all accounts, as few as 7,000 Saxon's took hold as a fighting force, with no more than 20/25,000 making up the numbers later !)
Love touring Scotland. & never had a fracas yet.
South Wales, Friendly...(not had the same response in the North mind)
Irish, Nah bother-ever.
It's 'our' leaders who manipulate 'the divide' always have, Always will (If we let them....)
Your a good un Wethers, Being who you are still means a lot to you many have lost or never had the feeling, had it manufactured out of them.
I'll stick with my own kind, just like i expect everyone else to do the same... & if 'we' aint playing (at ought)
I'll go with the closest to home
PS will you be 'on' during the game ?

Wethers, I don't mind Ireland with regards to football. As for rugby union, I'm clueless. Don't get and never will. League's a bit different with me. Used to go and watch Fartown with my mate and his dad 20 yrs ago but lost interest when his dad died. Thought grand final was good though.
