2 Points Dropped?

Good performance for Liverpool then, think we played really well with United playing 10 men behind the ball up until our goal! Then they bring Rooney, Nani and Hernandez on and we panic, which results in them equalising!

Which then results in us trying again, rather annoying that if we carried on playing the way we was all game they might not have scored and we might have won the game!

Do united fans think it was a dive or agree with there own player that there was contact?

Discuss?

Sir Bubbly is pressing F5 on the Liverpool board waiting to post the same drivel on each article, so ignore him.

And at the start I would've taken a point today, United set up very defensively and contained us well.

Quite happy with a point.

If enough people comlain about a user can we get them banned? I lodged a complaint against Sir Bubbly

Wasn't an overly inspired game, felt Liverpool cut a damp squib, should have gone for the kill and been more adventurous.Until the Gerrard goal neither side even looked like scoring

10 men behind the ball Man utd. Liverpool were the team that were doing that for most which worked, man utd if anything were attacking with to many players forward. Man utd should have sat back more and countered but because liverpool were dropping deep and countering we had to take them on in there half.

Man utd had 51.3% Territorial advantage, I would have thought it would be more but anyway you don't get more better territorial possession away from home by sitting back.

Are you for real? United barely even tried to attack until the last 20 minutes and Gerrard's goal, your best chance was that Young freekick which Reina fumbled

It's pathetic, all that money on all that wonderful attacking talent and both sides line up like Blackburn

If you looked at the game you would see everytime man utd got the ball liverpool would have 8 players within 30yds of goal while man utd would have around 4 making it difficult to work a chance while Liverpool tried to break in numbers but they couldn't really do that. Hence it was a stalemate. Liverpool closed man utd down but struggled to get up the pitch with support hence it seemed everything was being played in midfield area.

Liverpool were the ones trying to attack, United's attacking intuition went as far as counter attacking, which typically involved getting the ball to Young for a speculative cross to Welbeck

When we went to Old Trafford and gave you a game and a half, you went to Anfield and barely even tried to play

Pathetic

Yet we had more territorial possession. Besides Man utd created more sitters against chelsea then we did Arsenal

Territorial possession from keeping the ball in your own half!

For a club with all that history, all that tradition of vibrant attacking football, with all that attacking talent at your disposal, to play like a Sam Allardyce side was an absolute disgrace

You do know Territorial possession means having possession in the opposition half don't you. Hence if you edged that you have had more possession in the oppositions half. A team could keep the ball for 20 mins at the back but itwon't count. You have to go past the half way line for the seconds and minutes to count and we edged it. Iwould have expected it to be more as Man utd consistently had more players forward while Liverpool looked to break on us once we over commited.
