a striker away to Chelsea
CHEEKY MONKEY
He should stick to his normal tactics of 10-0-0 and 4-6-0 when in possession.

This is getting desperate now, without prioritising investment we have to resort to better tactics and I am afraid to say that Moyes choice of current assistant/coach just does not have the experience we require. The dogs of war approach is needed until we get a breathing gap from those below us, so bring Irvine back into the fold and lets get some aggressive effort back into the side. The lack of a decent business plan and the indolence of the Board is going to take us down unless we get a grip and fast.

Lack of a business plan forces Moves to play one up front?
What a joke of a comment that is. What next, Christmas called off because Santa is skin due to the double dip recession

He havent got the Dogs of War type of boys to play that role, we have better...but we do need some agression back in this team. Today I just watched most dip out of tackles and not get their bodies in the way which dissapoints me. Yes, get Irvine back in. Round is garbage. Moyes and Irvive had that click and knack to get best out what we had and could do that with what we have.
We've had a hard spell of games, still in a better position than previous years but Moyes needs to start taking the risks (if you would even call them that) and putting Velli and Saha (or another), Drenthe on the pitch. Spice it up a bit.
All I saw a list of names today who couldnt be ar$ed to put a shift in after 1 nil.

Glass Half Full,Lack of a business plan = a lack of money = a lack of transfer funds=a lack of alternatives up front.
Cant see where you mention the lack of a business plan forced Moyes to play one up front, to be fair.

No!!!! But the lack of a credible business plan has caused our last three attempts at ground move/improvement to fail, thus ensuring our loss of attractiveness for potential investors. I am actually of the opinion that a more robust approach, playing with one up front is required not the other way round. The days when we had Irvine and Moyes in tandem brought us the 1-0 results which we require now. It is very tight all around us at the moment and we need a few weeks of scrooge football to give us the gap we need.
