A genuine question on the racism accusation

Good evening guys!

First things first, I posted this on both boards because it directly involves both of our clubs hence we all deserve our equal say.

Naturally we'll all have bias towards whomever our allegiances lie just because we believe in the people our clubs employ.

I don't want to start a debate of 'Evra's lying' 'No, Suarez is lying', we've had enough of those.

We'll let the powers decide what actually went on. I was just interested to know what kind of punishment Suarez could expect to receive if he was found guilty of racism?

Obviously with the huge campaigns that we now enjoy to kick racism out of football this is now a more serious matter than it would have been say 3 or 4 decades ago.

I can't actually recall a similar circumstance hence I have no clue about the punishment(s).

I do recall in last year's Real Madrid vs Barca that Segio Busquets (I think, don't quote me on it) was accused of calling Marcelo 'mono' which translates in English as 'monkey' . I don't remember the former receiving any punishment, however.

So, with that said, what punishment would you deem deserved?

United fans, stick to your honest opinions, don't say 'he should never play again' just because he plays for our rivals, if you truly believe that, so be it.

Liverpool fans, obviously this is a sensitive and cautious issue but just imagine the shoe was on the other foot, what punishment would you call for?

The accused is undoubtedly innocent until proven guilty so keep it clean guys.

Thanks.

Taken from the Guardian website. In 2008 Evra was at the centre of accusations that he was racially abused by a groundsman at Chelsea while warming down. But an FA hearing into the allegation – which was made by a Manchester United employee – found that it was not proven. Evra was subsequently banned for four games and fined £15,000 for his part in the post-match altercation with the groundsman.

What is your point here?

Hope that if Evra is found guilty his previous should be taken into account.

Are all the Scousers on this forum illiterate, ignorant or just plain brain dead? It's remarkable how despite all the evidence to the contrary, they keep - like mindless sheep - regurgitating the same patent falsehoods.

Evra was involved in cases of racist allegation but he was the object of the allegation rather than the complaining subject.

Are you wumming or just plain stupid? I suspect that it is the first. Having had the rug pulled from under you regarding Evra's supposed past, it is all you have left.

I am just saying that I hope Evra is punished if it comes to light that he lied again.

======================================
When has Evra lied in the past ? as has been pointed out numerous times, Evra has not made these allegations in the past, are you unable to read ?

The reality of the Chelsea incident proves quite the opposite of what the Scousers are saying about Evra. Certain United staff claimed Evra was racially abused, yet Evra actually claimed he didn't hear any racist abuse. Surely if Evra is as dishonest as he's being made out he would have lied about hearing racist abuse in that incident & backed up Mike Phelan etc, and it probably would have helped him on the violence charge.
Because of that i am convinced Evra honestly thought he heard racial abuse, and either Saurez actually did use racist words, or Evra misheard him.

Can we just leave it at, that if Evra is caught doing this again, then he should be punished for it? Jeez.

Is there any concrete evidence apart from Patrice Evra himself that does in fact suggest that Suarez actually did racially abuse him? Sky have shown the complete opposite.
Sorry as far as I'm concerned, its Suarez that is in fact telling the trurh.
