For those who were at the game

Which is the more accurate match report:

Quite different views of the game obviously.

Can't be bothered reading them but my opinion for what its worth

We should have been 3 or 4 up at half time but for their keeper and misses from Ross and O'Dea (header).

We were cruising early 2nd half but without creating the same amount of chances.

Then we just stopped working and panicking and let them back in the game.

They probably deserved a draw in a way but only because we didn't kill the game off first half

Both have elements of truth however it was a game we were never going to lose, sub goalie Chewbacca who had done more than well up to that point cost us a goal & 2 points, should have had it closed out early 2nd half & my own opinion is subs Simon made seemed to put us on back foot thus sustaining quote " crowd became increasingly anxious" illustrated by the more than anxious chant of " Get intae ffff em up!!" Anyrode nivver mind win our game in hand, we are right bang in there with the rest.

Game in hand is away to birmingham, do don't bank on that.

Second one is more accurate.

Leeds should have been 3 up before they rallied though.

I can see why SG made changes but in hindsight I would have gone to 5 in midfield with Becchio the lone striker. Having said that SG would have been slated by some for being too negative but it might have stopped us getting over-run in midfield for the last 20 mins.

Was right to take off Snoddy as he was on a yellow, tired and likely to get sent off with one more mis-timed tackle.

Reason I ask is I remember after Boro game at home last season reading their account and found it much more accurate than ours, now I read both ours and our opponents to get a more balanced view.

Whatever SG does he gets hammered when it doesn't work. I would have looked at midfield though. I was only listening to commentary but it seemed to me Howson, as often happens, was pretty ineffective second half as was most of the midfield as Eddie said. Why does Howson have to be in the team even if he doesn't play well?

We looked good in the first half Snoddy was fantastic and the passing was good, yes we should of scored a few, Rachubka made two good saves, they were shoot from outside the box as our defence was dominating them,

Secound half started the same, then Becciho and Forcell came on they looked like stranger and they never tracked back to help the midfield, then Snoddy was bought of as he was getting frustrated,

after that we lost our shape a decided to stay in our own half and defend, we were sitting deeper and deeper as time passed and we tried our best to ensure they had as much of the ball as we could give them, there goal was coming, its a shame for the keeper as he's our No1 til Xmas.

Grayson did nothing to encourage the lad towards the end, he just stood and watched, poor management.

Two things on the Coventry board are hopelessly incorrect.

Coventry were kept in the game through resolute defending?

Their defence was no where to be seen when Mccormack, Keogh & Clayton had great chances to score,
They even said themselves that Clayton skipped several City challenges before shooting for the corner.

Also the funniest part is reading the bit at the end, Coventry grew in confidence & deserved to go level.

What absolute rubbish, apart from the final 20 minutes they were out fought & out played.

Our board gives a much fairer view of that actually happened, they are correct on saying Coventry salvaged a draw.

Definitely two points dropped last night Jonty.
Thanks for the two links.
