Close season blues

Who else is suffering from these?

Typically during the close season I find myself logging on to various fora, including this one, DATM and the other main one, and I am often left disappointed by the lack of action.

I scour the telly for decent matches, and am again left bereft of entertainment.

I try to while away my (meagre) spare time by playing FM2011, but keep getting bored as I know that even if I get promoted, Town didn't and were back in league 1 again.

What do you guys do to fill the time between seasons?

Someone help. I found myself watching Terry Pratchett's rough guide to suicide last night.....and thought that if I were in Switzerland I might kill myself with a cuckoo clock and a Toblerone.

i have a couple of months not having to organise my life(working) around where town are playing..
its like being on holiday, i dont have to drive to stupid places in the middle of the night so i can have early meetings to get to a game for 3pm and i dont have to stay in strange places after a 7-45pm kick off..
Yes, i miss it...

You should all stop being so miserable and continue to make use of the stadium and enjoy some summer Rugby league, Have a beer pitchside, Have a crack and some banter with the opposition fans, And lend your support to a bloody good team (most of the time), Same SStewards who seem to adopt a much more relaxed sunday avo attitude to spectators,
Easy to get to away games on trains, Good for a sunday booze, Summer Rugby is ace.
Personally, I will be watching most of the Copa America games on Espn, Hosted by the Argy Bargys this time, The crowds alone will make for an awesome spectacle when the hosts are playing.
Chile play some smashing stuff, The Mexicans are easy on the eye, There is Brazil and Uruguay and my tip to ruffle a few feathers this time - the Los Cafeteros.

"Aint no cure for the summertime blues", But i aint had the blues, I did not think we would beat the Posh, I treated OT as a day out, A seasons finale, One step further than last year, Anything else was a bonus.
I saw Posh play us 3 times last season, And i thought they were better than us, I saw us v the Cherries twice and thought they were better than us.
In fact looking on the brightside and geographical change in the league, I think i would rather be a big fish in the pond than vice versa,, Then again.

No Kilbane and no Johnson though, We need some legs in the middle.
