Alan Shearer....?

He did help to get Newcastle to the top of the Championship.

Listen, I'm not against Alan Shearer becoming your manager. I just wondered what you Cardiff fans think. I'd be mortified if he was coming to my club, but he's not. Sky reckon he's in talks to come to you.

What do you folk think?

I see Shearer has said no, apparently they couldn't meet his demands.



He wanted a manager and coach to come with him to give him time to get photographed outside the ground every five minutes with a bingo ticket in his hand?

Shearer was not right for this club at this time so glad that we decided not to sign him.

Hopefully our board will wake up and do whatever it takes to get one of Ian Holloway, Mark Hughes or Ian Holloway in.

Can't see it though, right now I would just settle for a decision being made so we can concentrate on building a squad.

Interesting times ahead for you chappos .... I'm not sure Shearer would be a shrewd choice. You need a Holloway type in. Pains me to concede it, but you're a club with bags of potential - needs to be sorted soon or the new season will arrive and the new guy will be playing catch up with signings etc......
