Midfielder

I've only ever seen him once, in the France vs Ukraine game a couple of weeks back, where he scored two very good goals and made another.

Obviously one game is not enough to form an opinion, but he looked very good on the ball, can go past players and has an eye for a pass. A little bit of Iniesta about him.

Again, one game is not enough to tell, but he is quite small and slender - i'd say he plays in a midfield 3 or on the wing.

so he is like a Mata/Silva sort of player?

The most annoying thing for me is that it seemed we had the perfect replacement at the club in Rodrigo Possbeon until Pogatez came in and wrecked his season and ultimately his career (well his united career at least)

Yep, something like that. I wouldnt call him a direct replacement or Scholes.

Two nice finishes – horrendous mistake from the French keeper for the Ukraine goal.

Seems to be similar to the type of player who is in fashion at the moment – given a free role. Don’t think he would fit into our team unless we changed our system

Park should play infield again. Much more creative than people give credit for (we did buy him as a clever, edge of the box player, who could also play wide). He can tackle and defend now too, so move him inside. Then buy a left footed wide player who can cover LB if needed. Slightly more defensive than our others, a good engine and can cross a ball.

4 wingers. Versatile cover for loads of positions. Creativity AND grit in the middle.

We're not gonna go out and but a Barca like CM this summer, but Fergie has sorted out the attacking side of it already, seeing as young can play behind the striker(s) too.
