Tough luck on Shelbourne. I think they might surprise a few people in the Airtricity Premiership next season.
This board is cerainly duller without Goulding and the peoples Republic of Cork poster Nickname awaiting Moderation.

Re Goulding,
I'm pretty sure he's now posting on ybig.ie. A poster by the name of Landon Donovan, changed from Gouldinho. Still comes out with the same nonsense

MILLTOWN:
Just replied to your latest post on my "Yes or No" thread and then came here to find your post above which has stopped me RIGHT IN MY TRACKS !
Im VERY SORRY to hear you are not in the best of health! I had picked up on your little semi humourous comment a few days ago about regretting you hadnt found a cure for cancer! It did make me wonder, but I thought it best to say nothing at the time.
I take it you are living in the Dublin area. I am based in the Belfast area most of the time. If theres anything you think I can do to help, just let me know.
You tend to get a feeling about people, even on something as limited as the internet, and Ive always liked you! Sorry for being such a granny, but try not to worry too much. The fact is, these things often work out OK. A mate of mine had a "Cancer/under the knife" thing about 25 years ago and hes running round, right as rain today! Though he likes to joke that the surgeon died shortly afterwards! -- He always had a weird sense of humour!(Really true! I wouldnt presume to patronise you.)
Anyway, speak to you later, Old Son. All the best for the match. My thoughts are with you.

Shenandoah, apologies for the delay in getting back to you.I tend to cast too cold an eye on people things, and will probably morph into crusty oul fool before you're able to wangle my commission back.My point being that despite it being an internet forum, i was gobsmacked by your compassion and offer of help, you are a gentleman.
But, it is my pal who'se health isn't the best.I'm accross the big pond spending a bit of time with him. I feel like a right e!@#t now about my profile, suppose it was on my mind at the time, and like your mate mine can always see the lighter side of things. He only gets worked up at the prospect of his neh'r do well brothers in law inheriting his fishing tackle and tools.
I had high hopes for the Gulf Of Maine, but it certainly wasn't a bumper catch.
Your kids sound perfectly normal for their age, i'd worry if they Didn't have an attitude.I tried to instill a halfway decent work ethic / sense of right / wrong in mine, everything else is gravy, as cliched as it sounds.
As for the match, the Estonians will need the stelly resolve of a Kilkeel fisherman to overcome that deficit.
I didn't want to impose on congrats thread, so hopefully you'll read this.
P.s. by way of thank you i'll let you in on the secret South Dublin Agnostics handshake, you simply mimic the reeling in motion necessitated when landing the Big Un that'd feed a Ballykinlar family for a week, again, thank you, the millman.
