Stadium MK developments

Opinions please!

I think it’s great - shows the ambition for both city and club.

Those I've read who say we rattle around in a stadium too big for us already are missing the point. This is a world class multi-use sports (and other) venue, and more than a football ground that has no other purpose... but there will be days ahead when even the MKD matches will fill it too. At least we will be able to use the upper tier now from time to time, rather than having an ugly concrete layer as it is now.

I just hope tickets will be sold in such a way that we are not even further spread out around the ground and lets also hope the building work doesn't disrupt the season, or next, too much.

Onward and upward. Come on MK.

But he dangled the incentive to a number of other people and they weren't interested because they wanted to keep thier family happy, Ma F couldn't wait ot be shot of his.

He KNEW the consequences of his offer being accepted. What about that doesn't register in your morally bereft head? "Oh hi Mrs F, sorry about evicting you and the kids, but I'm allowed to... What's that? Yes, yes I did know this would happen when I offered your hubby the money, but I want your house and I don't care that you suffer as a result. So, if you wouldn't mind hurrying along and getting the hell out of here..."

I'm sure you won't care for that, but that's exactly what you're saying is acceptable. I do not. When you are aware of the devastating consequences of your offer, you bear the moral responsibility for that damage. How you manage to think otherwise simply sums up the fact that your moral compass is badly askew.

But thats the point, the offer didn't need to be accepted. Mrs F will have a lot more to say to Mr F rathe tham Mr A.

It was Mr F's decision to abandon his family. Indeed he had already been looking around, but could get on with either his Irish or Welsh mistress. Maybe if Mr F had been happier with Mrs F and the kids maybe he wouldn't have been tempted.

So, by your reckoning, any offer, no matter what its consequences, isn't morally reprehensible of the person making the offer, but only of the person accepting the offer. Wow. Do you know what that makes you? That makes you a sociopath. And on that note, this discussion is over. I really don't need twisted individuals like you, with no moral compass anywhere near me. Bye.

There are certain offers that are morally reprehensible, for instance getting people to pay £25 and telling they own part of a football club for a year for instance, but then again thinking about it, no-one would be so stupid as to be taken in by something like that would they

BillP - Blimey, That took a different turn in the road, But yes i totally agree with you and the way you look at it, And you were an original Don. By the way Bath never anawered my question regarding the game the other night v Scunny or where AFC will have to play if they manage to gain promotion two divisions as the football league would not let them play at the current ground where they are tennants ? He calls you a sociopath, and me a schizophrenic yet seems to have a dangerous obsession regarding Winkeldinkel which borders on deranged, strange character that one.

BillP and Bryce - like you I've been reading Bath go off the rails here. The guy does his club (or the memory of his old club) no favours at all.

Yeah, but you have to admire his dedication to a cause that has been dead for 9 years, bit like that old scottie dog who lai on his master's grave until he died (the dog, not the owner, I would have throught he was already dead - otherwise it would be really weird)

Ironic, do you really think he has a club? He never discusses AFC Wimbledon either here or on the AFC Wimbledon Board.

BillP - there's little evidence he even likes football
... or people, for that matter.
