why would he do good at 6, know it all?

same thing as dilshan. he was mediocre and average in the lower middle order just as watson used to be. these players are what they are today because they are now opening the batting. why would you stick him back at no.6.

Because he's not an opener.. Thats why. I know you can say hes done well of late.. But i dont think he will make it at the top of the order on a consistent basis. You really need to set a foundation and thats been Australia's problem since hayden and Langer retired.. As for Dishan its been his lack of form at the top thats been costing Sri-lanka of late,. I dont think hes an opener or number 3 either..
