Thanks for the update Nuneaton-fox, I really hope this is correct and brings this sorry saga to an end. At least it means Pearson can now concentrate on preparing the team for next Sunday, it would be great for him to get off the mark with a win. By the way, the Mail on Sunday pools prediction gives an away win to Place, but wot do they know?

I do hope the club has not paid ANYTHING LIKE the absurd sum Hull were reportedly looking for. I should want Moyes at least for that kind of money, or three Pearsons.

Nuneaton, I too check 'NewsNow' for updates and continually find different information on the Hull site than Leicester's. It's odd considering that almost anything containing the word 'Leicester' "Foxes' 'Fox' etc etc are key words that normally trigger any articles relating to Leicester City. Indeed, especially with 'Fox' many of them have nothing at all to do with our team.

Whatever the amount agreed, it will be money well spent when he gets us promoted.

BIG assumption, there, gallysBP....

Did we not receive something like £650K for him from Hull? And they at least came in for him between seasons, which is relatively non-disruptive. There's not really any grounds for complaint if we pay something in the same ballpark to get him back in a mid-season raid.

Remember the compensation being mentioned is not just for big Nige, it also includes Walshy and Shakey and so not such a bad deal after all for around 800k
