This is not knee jerk reaction to the 'result' against spurs last night. This is in reaction to the way, style, tactical approach our however you like to phrase the manner in which your teams go about thier work. Pointedly, the way this club and set of players are responding to your efforts.
1) Is a defensive set up in the premier league the best way to success, let alone survival? Before you answer, think about your time at Birmingham City minus 1x carling cup.
2) What does Heskey actually offer the team that Delfouneso cannot apart from height?
3) Why play a defender who had been out of favour for months against Gareth Bale then, put the defender you purchased (for that area), on the wing? Think about game time for Cuellar and actual recent performances from Hutton, not just in defence, overall.
4) Are you confident in the ability of the players and thier faith in thier own abilities to do what is most natural, in the squad you have.
Think about the times we have scored a goal in open play where the players ignored your raging about getting back to defend, stayed on the half way line and miraculously found themselves in a position to run at defenders without having to go through opposition midfielders.
5) Did you lie during your interview with RL? I ask b/c we have attacking players at this club. BCFC were less fortunate on that front and played negativley out of necessity. I think you told RL that is not the only way you know how to set up a team.
6,7,8) Why shout, rant and rave 2 mins before the end off the match, in an attempt to motivate the players? How often does a team score 2 or 3 goals massivley against the run of play to secure a result in those circumstances? Trying to save some face?
9) Why has Albrighton lost self confidence? Think about the rest of the squad! Not one of them looks confident to me.
10) Are you a total plonker (wish I could use a stronger word)? Please consider all the above before answering.
Alex McLeish: Some questions.

I not sure McJudas reads these boards but if you post this to him, he may respond.
It will go nicely with all the letters/postcards that he has been reciving from us blues fans while on our travels in Europe.

The problem with your manager as he will see it as only one point dropped, he was never foing to go for a win. Dropping one point is not so bad at the end of the day.
The one thing I dont het is that he blamed your defende for losing last night. What planet is he on? Your defence, keeper and our poor shooting kept the gam respectable. If he really wanted a draw he should have flooded the midfield, we were allowed to strioll around with the ball.
You need to get rid of him and fast.

Good questions. McLeish will have answers. Doubt if they would convince anybody though.
