That first month's worth of fixtures is a ruddy assault course! Gonna need to come out of the blocks hard and fast I reckon!

What's more, Wenger and Gazidis better get on the case with transfers and sorting the squad out early doors, instead of swanning about, missing out on targets on deadline day and haggling over a few shirt buttons on a fee.

Away to Chelsea, Spurs and United before the end of October

Just seen the other lots fixture list, United at home to ourselves Spurs and Chelsea in their first 6 matches, what a chance they have to already open a gap in the table by keeping up their amazing home record. Chelsea have a pi$$ easy start, too, apart from United away they should easily pick up 15 points.

besides maybe swansea i think we have the worst first six games

Getting some tough games out the way early is a good thing. (This is the positive approach).

Those bloody CL qualifiers will be the death of us. Midweek games between matches against Liverpool and Man United. Bloody hell!

We could have done without UEFA Qualifiers, but if we
have to play Liverpool and Man Utd then I would prefer to play them early in season.

Liverpool are overhauling their team and Man Ut tend to be slow starters.

Providing that we do not land up with a tough UEFA qualifier and Wenger buys some half decent players
I would expect us to be well prepared for season.

My guess is that against both Liverpool and Man Utd
you will see very few major changes in our team apart
from perhaps 2 in defence.

Man U always start slow, so good that their more difficult fixtures are later in the campaign.

We usually start well so get the tougher matches out of the way while teams are still adjusting to the start of the new season, new team mates etc
