As well as can be expected, under the circumstances. I was brewing a Rauchbier yesterday and just as I was cleaning up after pitching the yeast, it did rain a little and I think I got a few drops on my back as I was wiping the last fermenter.
Other than that - I'm fine.

Not all that great as it happens, thanks for asking. Someone brought a cake into work yesterday, a carrot cake with royal icing on top. I don't normally have breakfast and I'd cycled the 12 or so miles to work, so I had a nice big slab of it. It had a slightly funny taste, but I didn't say anything in case the person who had brought it in got offended. I found out later it had been chucked in the bin when someone discovered blue and green mould all over the bottom of it. A colleague who had a piece went off sick in the afternoon, but happily with my iron constitution it's just left a general queasiness and an alarmingly brisk number two early doors today. I'm waiting for the next phase of the illness to kick in later on, probably severe nausea and profound depression round about tea-time.

You know what Dave? I've been away for a few days gigging in Estonia, and came back with the mother of all man flu's, so I've not been on here for a while. It does the heart good to see a fellow ram enquiring after one's health - though how I'll feel at the end of the West ham game is another thing altogether.
Eddie: there's a drink in Estonia called Alta Tallinna that I think the world needs to be warned about.

Alright Dave?
Feeling a bit rough actually -was at Pride Park last night for a 'gentlemans' evening of free food /wine/beer.
Dean Saunders was one of the speakers and was very good. Told a few Cloughie tales, seems a genuinely nice bloke too.

afternoon Dave, I trust you thoroughly enjoyed Florida??
As it happens, I'm currently loafing on the sofa feeling rough-as-arses as I went out with several colleagues last night for a farewell 'session' for other colleagues who are deserting the sinking ship that is Bombardier!
Estonia = Birthplace of one of my genuine heroes, Mart Poom.
Dean Saunders = another of my genuine heroes. What I'd give to see a player of that calibre in a Derby shirt again during my lifetime.

Apparently Estonia is a hotbed of illegal hooch. I can't find anything on this Alta Tallinna stuff - it must be a secret. I presume it's a spirit?
