As for Berba plus £17mil, I would definitley take it. It's just rumours though with no sources or anything so its not true

I would defo take that deal, I think Modric is a class player and is exactly what we need.

However, if we include Berbatov in the deal we will be short on strikers. We will will only have Hernandez and Rooney that are quality. We can't rely on Macheda and welbeck as they lack experience and owen will just play a few games.

Hernandez, Rooney, Owen, Welbeck....Macheda, Diouf

Also, we could play ROoney up top on his own with A.Youg playing behind him if needed.

Admittedly, it's a bit risky but I honestly feel modric is the final piece of the jigsaw.
