A good start and I thought we were going to get one or two more goals.
As it happened I was relieved to get the draw.
Usual discontent from the fans as regards possibly the two poorest players to pull on a Palace shirt in recent times. It's a shame that it's just the fans that can this and not the management.
Derby came out for the second half like a team possessed and after a good fifteen minutes of one way pressure it was clear that something had to be changed but that didn't happen. Cue the goal that was obviously going to come.
Andrew got a big derisory cheer when he was substituted (not good I know) and not before time. How many more chances can he get to prove at least something? He clearly is not a championship standard player and looked lost and clueless at times. I was actually embarrassed at one point mid way through the second half when he looked like he had lost the plot altogether.
Usual great effort from Murray especially after Calvin came off. Ambrose is back. Wilf didn't get anywhere near long enough to change the game. Good goal from Martin but not overly much else. Parr quite good and Pedroza looks to be a good addition if his nine minutes are anything to go by.
The rest were average at best, Jedi still passes like Stevie Wonder.
The substitutions came too late by at least ten minutes and if made earlier their defenders would have been far busier and this would have eased the pressure on our beleagured defence.
I'm glad I had a free ticket as I would have been a bit sick about paying £25.
Two points out of six against two poor teams at home. Although to be fair to Derby they were a lot better than Millwall and deserved the draw.

I was never going to the game tbh and I had the best intentions to watch the game at home............................................... but got held up at the pub, as can sometimes happen . So never saw the game but heard the result. After Wed i'd settle for a draw before the game, regardless of the performance for once. As it happens, we were lucky to get a point from some accounts but hey ho, you make your own luck.
Just off to polish the Crystal ball. Have a good w'end all

Loin-
it is good to see you chipping in at last, even if it is to give me a little dig .
I know I sound like Meldrew but I have to say it as I see it.
On the face of it, a draw in a derby game, a win against United and a draw two days after is n't too bad a week.granted.But to put it into context, we could have had two more wins with a modicum more guile from the manager.
Millwall were there for the taking as covered earlier and last night if he brought on Clynne for Ramage, O'Keefe for Jedi and Wilf for the woeful Andrew, we would have won.Simples but what do I know?
Not sure about a glass half full as I am on tinnies tonight

You know me hastings, always there with a compliment
From all acounts from people who were at the Millwall game, I agree with you, we were by far the better side, sometimes lady luck just ain't with ya, we're gonna get days like that The reasoning behind leaving out Clyne O'keefe, imo is because they were shattered, O'keefe at the end of the Moan U game was dead on his feet, Wright as well. I love Wilf but when he came on on Friday he got nowhere near the action, for me he was another one who ran himself into the ground at OT. It's all about opinions at the end of the day and they are mine PS will email you soon

It's hard to compare the performance at OT to the Derby game because it was a different side. If the team on Wednesday had been fit then would have been a different result.
But it showed we don't have much cover in areas such as defence or up front.
Also why do we have Andrew? He never plays and when he does he makes no impact at all. The only time I can remember him scoring a goal was in the league cup and he tried his best to miss! He's not a Championship player. He's barely a non-league footballer! I just had a quick look on wikipedia (that reliable source) and his career statistics show in 162 games he scored 13 goals and 3 assists!
Also TUX I'm pretty sure you meant it will be 3-1 after extra time
