Hope this isn't another player trying brinksmanship with Bates - it just doesn't work.

Unfortunately thats still where we are at the moment. We're a CCC side and players will be getting tapped up if they're anything like decent (or a prospect).

Hope we keep hold of White - looks a real good prospect and is improving game by game.

Still Bates, you know best. Just offer the guy peanuts and we can start the (expensive) search for a left back all over again....... always the loan market i suppose.

I just find it an absolute joke that our two hometown boys, Howson and White won't even sign new deals.

With Gradel and Kilkenny, you could point to them being greedy, having suspect attitude/commitment etc etc... but Howson and White are Leeds through and through and if they can't agree new deals then I fail to see why any other first team player would want to extend their contract at ER either.

In my opinion, White's not even good enough yet to be getting tapped up by a premier league team, he's probably just not happy being offered a fringe squad player contract, when he is in fact a vital first team regular.

Aidy White deserves a contract on the same level as the other first teamers. Considering that he's an important player for us and if he was injured we'd have a problem.

I must admit, this is becoming all to frequent.
I am all for the tight ship, but am getting sick of hearing about "player rejects contract".

It completes shizzles on Grayson's thought process that "the draw is Leeds United". Clearly in this day and age, it isn't.

Lets be honest, Kilkenny said he wanted to stay and rejected, As did Johnson if memory serves me right.

Who knows what is going on, but with Uncle Ken about, I can him the contract offers being pretty average.

Woah Anti, calm down, I didn't read it in any newspaper I read it on a very reliable Leeds fan site that I always use.

And as for the second comment, it may well be the case that Howson will accept a new deal in good time and he has said before he is in no rush, but I can't help been concerned that we are less than a month away from January and they both havnt signed, and what if a team like Bolton offered him a better deal in January, are you telling me he wouldn't consider switching to the PL on better pay?
