He may go on to shine like other players who never broke into our first team, but Oscar was someone that NA thought had a future here whereas for some of the others we weren't the right place at the right time.

Who'd have thought Nathan Dyer would be in the Prem? Interesting to see how well he does, as it has been with a host of others, some of whom we had to sell to raise cash, some were lured by bigger clubs, some we got rid of for reasons of discipline, some developed after they left, all sorts of reasons, but not many have fallen by the wayside, the upper tiers are littered with players who've been at Saints. Was down the pecking order last year and with a couple of new signings would have only been warming the bench. Has the build and stamina to be a decent midfield player but lacks the skill. Best of luck to him and lets make sure a decent sell on clause just in case he comes good. Someone described as like Carlton Palmer, very good description though not as dirty, just clumsy
