Someone up front who can hold onto the Ball
Well done Callum

Slating the fans who were at Pride Park for not shouting encouragement because you couldn't hear them on the radio, and citing it as one of the reasons you won't go..?
Wow.
Chicken? Egg? Chicken? Egg?
When you've decided not to go anymore, you lose your right to offer opinion on the performance of the fans who do rock up to Pride Park in the cold and the wet and in the middle of a horrific run of results.. to condemn them from the Armchair about which you're so scathing of others is just a little bit hypocritical, don'tcha think?!!
Let's be clear here; I don't go because I will not endorse the current regime either at board or management level, and I'll continue to slate them from a distance until they improve, but I will NOT bemoan the attitude of the fans who continue to turn up.
Each to their own; there's dyed-in-the-wool Rams who'll go and cheer at whatever garbage happens to be wearing the famous black and white, there's those who are critical of what they perceive as lacking about the club but who continue to attend, and then there's people like me who refuse to subsidise the demise of the club, but do I have a right to have a pop at the likes of ViewFrom who continue to rock up and offer support..? Or maybe others like Robrea who continue to turn up despite being so very disappointed with the standard on offer? No. I can defend my position because I'm doing what I think is right but then so are ViewFrom, Robrea and others, so if they want to cheer positively or ironically then that's their right, isn't it..?

"I agree rebrea about being entertained. The football is poor. I stated this yesterday in a post but was castigated by old one eye for 'whining'. He reckons it's JUST about the 3 points. How short-sighted is that. "
I didn't castigate you for whining - you don't normally register with me because when we win you don't normally post.
I just welcomed you back in terms that would register with your normal level of comment.
Now consider THAT castigation. Whiner.

Taiwan Saw your earlier post, 'nostalgia juice'
Ramdini It's a long frustrating road, but I couldn't have put it better myself. I think Ward has been one of Clough's best value for money signings. Everybody had a bad first half, but Ward still pops up with a telling contribution and his positivity has been vital.

"That did occur to me as 12YO, yesterday celebrated her latest birthday along with a Derby win, Forest loss and a cake from Costco that bore the legend 'We only had 10 men' along with 40 of her mates (which included 3 Red puppies which only goes to show how inclusive and tolerant I am as a father...!!!)"
I had Lil'Un's 8th birthday at Pride Park and, not only where there EIGHT Red puppies there, TWO of them belonged to Des Walker
Now THAT is inclusion and tolerance!!
The things we do for our kids, hey?!!

Fact ward now rated at 2mill (all be iffy sources) shows his value.
Capn, it a drink which is self-indulgent, but we love it anyway. haha
Ramdini, I agree with that, sure Clough is not going to rocket us into the next Man U, but I have never felt backwards under him, which in itself is a rare thing for Derby.

Call yourself a Dad 666
I had 8yo birthday at PP with his mates, tour and all then stumped up the extra for mascot on Boxing Day with his brother.
Proper Dad me.

At the risk of gloating, we also had the tour (the Lil Red Pups booed the montage of Derby goals vs Forest as played in the changing rooms) and I also stumped up for Lil'Un to be one of Rammie's helpers (back in the day when it was good old Dean Mottram).
She ran out in front of a packed Pride Park for the televised match against the Dirties, wearing her black Rams shirt, her DCFC gloves and her black DCFC tracky bottoms AND she had the glorious legend "We All 8 Leeds" on the back of her shirt.
Do you think it's possible we might be living vicariously through our kids?!?!?!

Quite possibly 666.
Lucky little buggars aren't they.

I'm not sure though.. I was standing on the pitch in front of the tunnel to take photos as she ran out (A3 laminate has proudly hung over my desk ever since!) and the noise was unbelievable: I'm not sure I'd have had the stones to do that at her age!
Great memories though, will defo do it all again if I knock our lass up!
