IT WAS STILL RUBBISH.

well nigel, you started with 4-5-1 AAGIN !!!!!!!

and yes you took priskin off and put ball on for anything to really change.

your excuses regarding cywka are transparent.

" well, they had a chance ( doyle and cywka ) to stake a claim and they didn't take it " .

HE'S ONLY HAD 3 APPEARENCES NIGEL, ARE YOU STUPID ?
how is that 'staking' a claim ??

i'm still not convinced nigel is a tactical genius.

game of two halves, but i wasn't impressed. and no, i'm not anti-nigel, just want him to pull his finger out.

just my thoughts.

MILF, even armchair fans can spot when a pile of the proverbial is indeed a pile of the proverbial. Some of Junior's decisions even for the most one eyed rose tinted Clough fans have been, to say the least, confusing. I for one, am not disputing Cloughs background in the world of football and that he knows more about the game than I, as a mere spectator, can ever know. However, that doesn't take away the right of any of us to question the way he goes about it. After all, isn't football all about opinions?

MILF, I don't doubt Clough is tactically better than me, but sometimes I wish he would use those tactic's more freely.

All this "no plan B" ballcocks means nothing, it's just a term without meaning that some of you have latched onto!

"Plan B" was Ball & Bennett on and, guess what, it worked...as it did against Palace!

We all have our own opinions and can disagree with decisions that are made, but to even think any of us know more about managing a football club than Clough does is just plain daft.

Get a grip

hmmm.... so in a results based business we get a result and its the managers "fault".

am i missing summat here?

the whole point of this article is, that nigel is clueless tactically.

4-5-1 with the players we have got at our disposal, is pointless.

one win in how many games ?

wow, way to go mr clough.

to a point, i think our knowledge football can be matched with nigels. armchair fans arn't stupid.

we know about tactics, strategies and formations.

and we know how we'd motivate a team better.

so yes, i and a few in here, probably do know more than nigel.

Dave. Stop embarrasing yourself with nonesence.

You know nothing about professional football. Football is 95% getting players on the pitch and 5% tactics.

What do you know about the 95% Dave?

i think i would need to have a lot more knowledge of what made each player tick before i would say i knew more than their manager.

I had to laugh at the "442" chants just before half time. Sing up lads, I'm sure he's listening. After all, what former England international wouldn't trust the judgement of a bunch of fat blokes and kids in the SE corner.

It isn't as simple as going 442. There aren't many teams left that play such a rigid formation. If a 451 works the way it should there will be plenty of support from the midfiled for the striker.

As for Cywka, I like him, but there's no way I could justify playing him on what I've seen so far this sesaon. He was one of the worst of a very bad bunch when we played Hull. It does seem as though Nigel is out to get him, but performances like that don't do much for Cywka's counter argument.
