Can anyone else remember when Aaron Lennon was being touted as the saviour of English football, with pundits generally agreeing that he is a far superior player to Theo Walcott?
I admit I'm only judging on what I saw today, but against a distinctly average defence Lennon was completely anonymous. It is surely no coincidence that Spurs look much more threatening after he was substituted at half time.
By comparison, Walcott had one of his worst performances in an Arsenal shirt for some time against Bolton, yet he still created a number of goalscoring opportunities and forced the keeper into a tremendous save.

He isnt terrible, as batmanu said too inconsistent. However he was our best player the season we got 4th and deserved the hype he got then. This season though, he is not as good as Walcott, yet Walcott has impressed me a lot.

Lennon is a headless chicken. Always has been. Nothing's changed.
Walcott has added some subtlety to his game, improved his decision making, and times his runs well.
He has upped his game, to his credit.

Ithink Lennon is on par with Walcott. IMO, right now Walcott us looking better only because of the amazing service he gets from song, arteta and Ramsey in a free flowing 4-3-3 system
If Lennon was at arsenal, he'd be more consistent and dangerous IMO because arsenal remain one of the more creative sides, even if they have lost fabregas

Yea but Lennon is amazing on FIFA
But yea from what I've seen of him this season, no point playing him. 4-4-2 with VDV on the right + Defoe up front would be better
