I had an xbox so i do feel as though i have license to comment
On game play xbox is slightly superior if adventure games are your sort of thing but i refused to pay for a xbox live membership when i could by a ps3 with a blue ray player, similar game play and free online gaming.

Yes the online thramework leaves a lot to be desired but its a work in progress and as long as your playing your mates who arent gna sign off after going a goal down, it suits me fine

I'm not exactly touchy, just noting an observation. PS3 owners seem to feel the need to constantly berate the xbox. Just wondering who they're trying to convince?

Yeh paying for the online service isn't ideal, but the PS network drives me up the wall, it's slow and featureless in comparison to the xbox live service.

Similarly the cost of the Ps3 when I bought my xbox was round about twice as much. xbox + 3 years of live doesn't even come close to what I would have paid for the Ps3. I also don't miss having a blue ray player. Might buy one eventually but they're cheap now and all.

The funny thing is, i actually bought my xbox becasue it was cheap but i wasnt completely satisfied with paying only £60 for for my system then ave to pay a third of that fior xbox live membership. To most thats nothing but for me it was the pricible and tbf im a student so wasting money isnt the best thing to be doing.

With the ps3 being so cheap now id defo reccommend you get one, the psn gta get better in the next few years but if not as long as youve got a healthy number of mates to play, its well worth invesing.

i havent bothered with the virtual pro in fifa 12 but in 10 and 11 i got him to 89 rating, doesnt take that long though does it....

also im not a bad fifa 12 player, got to divison 1 the other day
