The Spineless Toads At The FA

More concerned with how the world views them than actually making the correct decision.

I didn't realise that they were going to ignore Evra's part in this whole sorry incident and hand down a disproportionate ban to a player disliked in this country but clearly not a racist by virtue of his own heritage.

The FA have clearly decided that any language or cultural differences were unimportant which makes a mockery of the time taken to decide the ban.

Suarez has clearly been skating on thin ice with his Ill advised timing in flipping the bird to the Fulham fans and was always going to end up with some sort of ban, but I'm shocked with the severity of the punishment.

I hope LFC fight this all the way. I don't object to some sort of punishment but this is a disgraceful overreaction to take the heat off the FA.

He's either innocent or guilty in my opinion. There is no middle ground, so there can't really be a "sort of" punishment - eight games or nothing.

The Referee.

He clearly showed disrespect to the Fulham fans rightly or wrongly, but the racist evidence was a different kettle of fish.

I'm not actually bothered. He gets the rest he didn't have after the copa America.

Funny that other fans say it's awful for us but none of us are worried

They say our season will suffer, but they don't rate him. I've laughed a lot tonight so far.

NewWayne

Your making a fool of yourself.

It's quite embarrasing reading your posts. That's what it boils down to for many fans of your ilk, not the right or wrongs of the issue but the fact that decision make you feel better about yourself.

Very sad.

He is guilty, the FA have come to that decision, if he gets found not guilty after an apeal then he will indeed be not guilty - but until then you have to face the fact that he is officially guilty of racial abuse.

I dont think the FA were spineless (when its spun how the OP did it, it would seem that way) although I do see the OP's point - Personally I think they showed a little courage (unusual for them I know) in actually having the bottle to find a high profile player in a high profile club guilty of this ...fair play to them for that, and I think the profiles of the club and player is the reason they took so long to decide. However, I wonder if they will now use a level playing field as they have a tradition of double standards at the FA
