Nothing surprises me... from the FA

So they ban him for 8 games, but the ban only starts in 14 days time...

Which means by my reckoning the ban starts on January 4th.. And runs for 8 games.

The last game he would be eligible for, deemed by the FA, is the match v Man City.

Under the 8 game ban period, the LAST game his ban covers is Man U away.

So the FA have deemed his ban starts in 14 days meaning he can play v Man City, and the FA have deemed his ban ends once we have played 8 games hence... Ie after the man u match.

Like I said nothing from the FA surprises me.

bogus charge, the FA is full of thugs.
again, let's recap, nobody claims or has evidence that Suarez is a racist. Even Evra, and he gets the ban. Shouldn't then everyone in the game get banned everytime they say something offensive, which is probably most players every game in the heat of the moment.
Like I said, nonsense and very stupid from the FA.
Hope we'll fight it to the bitter end.

Hippo is funny.

I'm not actually bothered. He gets the rest he didn't have after the copa America.

Funny that other fans say it's awful for us but none of us are worried

They say our season will suffer, but they don't rate him. I've laughed a lot tonight so far.

Greatteams, yes the ban begins when we accept the verdict or after the appeal if we go down that route.

Isnt the 14 days a set format? You can chose when to appeal. Stop being paranoid.

Pathetic paranoia.

Suarez is a slithering snake. Been proven on numerous events.

Football is no place for people like Suarez

OP, we have 14 days to appeal from the date that the FA release their written verdict. If we don't appeal the ban starts immediately. If we appeal the ban would only start after the appeal process is completed. That could be weeks.
