Great Article From An Arsenal Fan

This is a great article from a decent Arsenal fan that I was dismayed to see ruined by the idiot wums, so I've decided to post it on here for us to read:

Headline

Abject Revulsion And Embarassment

by RuiCostaJr - Arshavin The Elf is Santos' Little Helper (U10462)

Congratulations FA, you have made me more
violently sick than the time I got bored one
afternoon and, with our old SodaStream machine
staring me in the face, decided to invent, taste and
then swiftly expunge, carbonated milk. Not the brightest idea I ever had. Kind of like the FA
right now. Luis Suarez is a key player for Liverpool, and while the FA might not have an anti-Liverpool agenda, they certainly seem to have a pro-United one.

All they have on Suarez is Evra's word, and it has all but been ascertained that the word used was
'negrito', which in itself is not racist. 'Little black man' is an accurate description of Evra, although
given his behaviour over the course of his
Premiership career, I can think of a multitude of
other more colourful words to describe him that
have nothing to do with his skin.

So for using a word which is, in itself, not racist,
Suarez is being given the same length ban that Axel Witsel got for obliterating Marcin Wasilewski's leg with a sickening challenge and left him sidelined for a year. I cannot adequately describe just how inbalanced and unjust I find this. Are the FA going overboard because of the 'Kick
racism out of football' spiel?

If so, then John Terry (who, if guilty, used English terminology with no ulterior meaning to insult Anton Ferdinand) deserves to face a firing squad. Such a typical situation for the FA - lenience in the case of a bad offence, such as the multitude of awful and potentially career-threatening fouls we see each season, and extreme overkill for an offence where there are political brownie points to be won.

Surely Liverpool can challenge this ban on the basis that, according to Sepp Blatter, the highest
authority in European Football, there is no racism in football. Racism should obviously be dealt with seriously, I'm not arguing that. But I am arguing that, given the nature of the word used, the fact that the only validity they have for it is hearsay from an injured party with an unsavoury personality, and the extreme inbalance in relation to other more serious offences, how can the FA justify this fiasco?

I'm not more a friend of Liverpool than any other
non-Scouse-Red, but this situation is just farcical.

Why did Evra need to say "South American"? Why not just "Shut up"?
=====
But Suarez said he never heard that comment, if this is true he had no need to call him a little black fella.

RED666..., let's not forget that behind all of this is a bitter glaswegian pensioner and a past-it african.

The outcome was inevitable. That said it will be appealed and the ban reduced or removed.

Did Fergie say at the time Evra was on his own with this?

That's actually a good point and suggests that maybe they're as bad as each other......
I honestly think that if Evra could of thought of something more insulting in the heat of the moment he would of used it. Like i said, he doesn't come across as very witty!

Maybe none of this would of happened if Evra hadn't said 'Shut up South American'.

Alternatively maybe none of this would have happened if Liverpool had something in place to educate players on how to behave on a football pitch. It would cost a fraction of what that 8 match ban and the ill-will is going to cost your club.

I was referring to Slur A's influence on the FA.

Its a fact of life, I can't do much about it but keep focused on there only being another 5-10 years of this remaining.

Couldn't agree more. I said some thing similar even before the decision was released ,
