If the appeal fails, the club will apply for an injunction to suspend the ban whilst a private hearing is held in the law courts. If a judge rules the FA acted illegally in banning Suarez with insufficient evidence, the player will also have a solid case against Evra for slander.
Now the FA have shown willing they may 'review' the decision and decide there wasn't enough evidence after all. I think that would be sensible.
They might provide LFC with some evidence which means the club will just accept the ban. But I doubt it!
