According to sky sports news Swansea have had an other of under 1m turned down by us, it says we value him higher and are not looking to sell. I was wondering what others thought, personally i think he has talent but is just not consistent enough other a whole season, although 12 goals isnt something to be sniffed at. I feel we can afford to sell him and although it says Mowbray likes him, i feel Mowbray would rather have the money we might earn from a sale to either help sustain our current wage bill or buy someone else.
Any views on this?

Hi Jackle,
I saw that article & what did interest me is that Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers has just returned to Britain following a charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro - something he did with Boro chairman Steve Gibson, bit of coincidence especially with their interest in Marvin Emnes & now Lita......I hope we don't bottle it & let them go for pittance.
Here's the link if anyone needs it

I think anything less than £3 million and we shouldn't let lita go, i'd let emnes go for £2 million. Neither will be on massive wages and, for me, mcdonald is our number 1 striker and needs to play with a target man. It would be nice to have lita and emnes as back up and as options depending on who we're playing but it's not really practical to have 4 good strikers.

4 good strikers? We don't have one good striker at the moment. We've got an average striker (McDonald), one who blows hot and cold and can't keep his shirt on (Lita), one pace merchant who's yet to add goals to his game (Emnes) and a fat plonker.
I think McDonald and Lita/Emnes is what we'll see next season - though reckon we'd take £2m for Lita, esp. considering some of the free transfers available... John Carew, anyone*?
*that's a joke, btw, no way he'd come OR we'd afford him.

News saying that Cardiff want Andrew Taylor now, Malky Mackay obviously had him on loan last season, i dont see it as a good move though for Taylor, amean he is going to a Cardiff team who had to starve of adminstration start of last season and made a huge push for promotion and failed, i dont see any progress, while here he has a regular berth and a progressing club with young players. This may be a decision his wallet makes imo

emnes, mcdonald and lita are good championship strikers, especially since mowbray came in.
